The Wine
Here's a Champagne scoop worth celebrating – the first ever UK release of Lefebvre Cuvée Réserve and we have the entire allocation. It comes courtesy of the Cuperly family who's been making top Champagne since 1845. Gérard Cuperly, who trained at Piper Heidsieck, took over the family business in 1967. Through pure graft and talent, Gérard lifted the Maison into an award-winning Champagne house specialising in Grand Cru, with 50 awards in the last 5 years. When Jean Lefebvre, a friend of the family, passed away with no successor in 1999, Gérard stepped in. He put all his Grand Cru know how into making this special Réserve Cuvée: a blend of the top 20 wines from the estate, 100% first press and 18 months ageing on lees. Top Celebration Fizz.
