Peregrinas Chardonnay 2022
Valle de Curicó
Loading...
Peregrinas is a clear indication of how good Chilean Chardonnay can be. It's from award-winning Jon Usabiago at the family-owned Aresti cellar in Curicó. Using grapes all from the La Reserva subregion, it's peachy fresh with just a touch of oak.

The Wine
The Aresti family have been producing great wines in the Curicó Valley for over 70 years. Vicente Aresti was the proud pioneer, founding the estate in 1951, thoroughly modernising the winery in 1999 and handing it all over to his two daughters, Ana Maria and Begoña, in 2012. They now boast an impressive cellar and have rejuvenated their old vineyards. They work hard to promote learning within the community and support a library. Sustainability is front of mind with them too, so they use lighter bottles, minimise waste and look after soils. Peregrinas uses Chardonnay sourced from the La Reserva area of Curicó Valley, an area of pure sunshine and cold mountain air. Rounded melon, peach and citrus, it's great with seafood or creamy pasta.
