Bristed Brothers Sauvignon Blanc 2019

The Bristed Brothers are a bit of a legend in Marlborough. For one thing, they planted vineyards way before any one else, so these vines are some of the oldest in the region. They are also, at 70, renowned for some crazy capers. They sail boats down the local Taylor river and sometimes take to the sky in their biplane they built themselves! They've been selling their grapes to a famous cellar for years, but were hugely excited about the proposition of having their own name on the label. We've launched this new wine in the terrific 2019 vintage, a small but very high quality harvest, so expect an abundance of gorgeous ripe guava, mango and lime fruit. Chill down well and enjoy a large, refreshing glassful on its own or with spicy stir fry.
