The Wine
Nestled in the northern Mount Lofty Ranges, Clare Valley is ideal for top-class Rieslings. It has vineyards up to 609 metres altitude and in summer, temperatures can drop from 40° during the day to 1° at night. This encourages a long, leisurely ripening of the grapes, capturing maximum aroma, depth and freshness. Our ‘Limited Release’ labels are reserved for special parcels where we can’t reveal our source. What we can divulge is that this Riesling is a blend of two parcels from 4.5-star and 5-star Halliday-rated wineries (Australia’s renowned wine critic) so you know the quality will be top notch! This certainly shows in this Riesling – bright lime and stone fruits with floral hints. A refreshing aperitif or partner to seafood or salads.
