This is a 'happy 50th anniversary parcel' of outstanding Reserva from one of our longest standing friendships in Spain. We can’t reveal the source, but it’s from a family winery who chose us to launch their Rioja in the UK in the 1980s. They went on to raise the bar in Rioja and were, consequently, named among the Top 50 Wineries of the World nine years in succession. Now they’ve revolutionised vineclad hills 3,500 feet above the plateau of Castilla-La-Mancha into Spain’s newest fine wine hotspot. Brand new winery, impressive barrel hall and described by Wine Spectator as “a real success story”. Crafted from Bordeaux grapes and aged in oak barrels for 18 months, this is a superb value, luxurious wine for both Rioja and Bordeaux lovers.

"An exciting one-off parcel of dark and delicious, mellow Reserva 2011. Outstanding quality and value" Beth Willard
