The Piron team are some of the best Beaujolais winemakers we know. Proper wine people. The kind that spend every hour in the vineyard. As you'd expect from such award-winning producers, they only trust the best to keep the vines free of pests. Enter dedicated pet cockerel, Léon. He spends his days vigilantly roaming the vineyards keeping their fine grapes pest-free. Now the team have decided to give Léon the credit he deserves: his very own wine. The wine is certainly worthy of such a hero bird, full of bright, juicy berry packed Beaujolais flavour. So why no 'Beaujolais' on the label? Well, alongside the Gamay grape there’s a little dark, rich Gamaret, not allowed under Beaujolais rules. We're sure you won't mind when you taste it.
