Established in 1880, Joseph Drouhin is one of the most famous names in Burgundy. Andrew Jefford writes: “Quality is high throughout the range, with the Drouhin style one of great finesse and purity” (The New France). It is today run by Joseph’s great grandchildren – Philippe in charge of the vineyards, Veronique head of winemaking and Frédéric in overall control. In line with their belief that great wines begin in the vineyard, they champion all organic and biodynamic methods throughout. This rare Côte de Beaune Blanc uses several parcels of grapes, including one from younger vines in the Premier Cru Clos des Mouches. Matured for a year in part new oak, this mineral white is best served cellar cool with fine sauced white meats or fish.

"As the wine matures, intense flavors of grilled hazelnut and almonds are in evidence" Veronique Drouhin
