It’s hard not to be seduced by the generous notes of redcurrant and cherry underlined by spicy oak complexity of this delicious red. Yet it also has the hallmark of serious Pinot Noir – a long velvet finish. The Decanter tasting panel was so impressed they awarded it 90 Points, saying that it "represents excellent value for money". Our Buyer Beth unearthed this rising star from a superb estate in Baden, awarded the region's 'Best Winery' in 2014. Baden is Germany’s greatest region for Pinot Noir and has the ideal climate for this finicky grape. It's warm so Pinot Noir ripens well, but isn't overly hot. Bottled without filtration for maximum body and complexity, it’s soft enough to enjoy on its own or with white meats or mushroom risotto.

"Smoke and farmyard aromas and bramble fruit. Silky, fine tannins and a wonderful balancing acidity" Simon Wright
