More information
Raised in Bordeaux, Hervé Fabre left France in the early 1990s in search of new and more challenging wine territory in which to invest. He was heading for Chile but became side-tracked by old Malbec vineyards in Argentina and never left. Hervé now runs a leading estate in Mendoza, and another in Patagonia, and has won hoards of international Golds and Trophies. Every year his wines also score very highly with top critics like Parker, Suckling and Decanter. This superb red uses all hand picked Cabernet Sauvignon from Luján de Cuyo and Perdriel vineyards, where grapes ripen slowly. Aged for a year in French oak, it’s a full bodied, complex red that will make fine drinking over the next few years. Decant to allow the flavours to unfurl.
