From a stand out vintage, producing "rich, intense, powerful fruit-driven wines" (Richard Mayson), the Graham's is nothing short of stunning. "Wow. Amazing" wrote Suckling, awarding it 97 Points. Tuck away if you can, it'll only gain in magnificence.

For almost two hundred years W & J Graham’s has been an independent family business known internationally for producing some of the very best port wines. As one of the first companies to invest in their own vineyards in Portugal’s Douro Valley, back in 1890, Graham’s has always been a pioneer. Owned today by the renowned Symington family, the company is at the cutting edge of innovation in winemaking techniques. Their 2017 is one of the very best of this great vintage. It was a hot year and saw an early harvest, but still these lavish, ripe, powerful fruit wines are "balanced by unusual freshness and verve" (Mayson). Powerfully structured, with dense fruit and that lovely freshness, this 2017 will age exceptionally well, if you can wait!

"Wow! Amazing aromas of crushed blackberry and blueberry, stems and rose petal. Entrancing. Full" James Suckling
