The Gabb family have been instrumental in putting South Africa’s wine on millions of dinner tables around the world during the past 30 years. Today they channel their energy into their modestly sized winery Journey’s End. They bought it in 1995 with the aim of creating the ‘Grange’ of South Africa, and with the first vintage received 5-Stars from revered critic John Platter. The property lies in Stellenbosch‘s prized Somerset West, and enjoys beautiful views across False Bay. Next door is the world famous Vergelegen estate. Bees Knees is made by winemaker Ben Jordaan. Premium Chenin Blanc and Viognier are carefully cool fermented, then lees aged for extra richness and creamy texture. Serve chilled with fish or chicken and mango salad.
