We launched our 'Project Artist' label competition with Domaine Piron back in August and thank you to all for your really fabulous entries. There were so many we loved. The prize and prime position on the bottle goes to the creation from Kelvin Jenkins. The wine is from Domaine Piron, run today by the 14th generation, Dominique Piron, and Julian Revillon. The grapes come from 50 year old vines grown on superior Villages hillsides, so the wine has real depth and intensity, helped in 2020 by the amazing fine spring weather. Their vibrant Nouveau is a delicious, fruit laden Beaujolais, made for joyful easy drinking. Packed with juicy red berry fruits and a suppleness rarely found in other reds, it’s perfect with pâtés, picnics and cold meats.

"Every year, this Nouveau from Piron is gloriously fruity. There's no hurry to drink it either" Sarah Everden
