Brother and sister winemaking duo Gilbert and Christine Felettig represent the third generation of their family to craft fine Burgundy. When their father inherited three hectares of vines back in 1965, he set about expanding his holdings slowly, a few rows at a time. And today, just over 50 years later, Gilbert and Christine are responsible for a total of 11.5 hectares, in over 100 plots, spread across a swathe of Burgundy. And the plots responsible for this mouthwatering Chardonnay are in the heart of the Hautes Côtes de Beaune. Organically raised, and tended and harvested by hand, the grapes are whisked to the cellar for a gentle pressing, before even gentler oak ageing. You’ll find this wine sublime with roast chicken or soft cheeses.
