Mr Anderson Shiraz Malbec 2017

Langhorne Creek McLaren Vale

Our search never ends for the best tasting Aussie wines, but with demand red hot, it isn't easy. Thank goodness for our scout, in his classic VW Kombi van. This is his latest find from two A-listed regions – velvety with dark black fruit and spice.

There’s an ever increasing thirst for Aussie wines – and not just from the UK – demand from China is rising at an exponential rate. So getting our hands on good value, great tasting wines with class and character is becoming increasingly challenging. That’s where our Aussie-born scout comes in – Michael, nicknamed Mr Anderson (that's one for Matrix fans). And with outback wineries flung far and wide it’s ideal to have a Kombi to hole up in. Meet our Mr Anderson Far and Wide red - Malbec and Shiraz from two top-notch regions. These grapes are uncommon bedfellows, but work perfectly together here. Intense black fruit, with the savoury notes of Malbec complementing the Shiraz spice. Bold, rich and balanced, it’s tasty with richly sauced pasta.
