Boatman’s Drift is based on the 18th century legend of the Flying Dutchman; a Dutch ship lost off the Cape of Good Hope in a storm. As a punishment for swearing to pass the infamous Cape no matter the cost, the captain, boat and crew were condemned to sail the seas for eternity. To this day there have been sightings of a phantom glowing ship off the coast. But those same winds that make for treacherous sailing in the Cape, make for outstanding wines. The cooling breezes from the colliding Atlantic and Indian Oceans balance the searing heat of the African sun, to provide the perfect environment for crisp, zesty whites to thrive. Like this terrific Chenin Blanc. It's fresh and fruity, with hints guava and tropical fruit. Superb and moreish!

"Crisp and zesty!. A perfect wine for sipping solo, sharing with friends or enjoying with pizza" Kirsten Willis
