The white is called La Scelta di Sofia – made from a hand-selected parcel of Tuscany’s classic red grape, Sangiovese. Given a featherlight pressing, the juice comes out beautifully clear, making a wine that’s light and bright, with ultra-refreshing flavours of quince and citrus.
Now for magnificent, Il Sognatore ... a rosé that starts off being made like Amarone, one of Italy’s grandest reds. The grapes are air dried after picking, concentrating flavour. Then a gentle pressing for that gorgeous deep pink colour and intense aromas of pomegranate and red berries.
You can enjoy Sofia’s wines individually, or discover them both in the mixed showcase … either way, you’ll SAVE £36!
